This page shows the paper per reference journal distributiosn from 27 collections of papers covering various subjects. This distribution is theprobability that papers from a reference journal will receive k citations. The A Yule distribution is calculated for each plot by calculating the Yule parameter alpha as the number of reference journals divided by the number of cites to journals. The calculated Yule distribution is shown as a red line and the corresponding parameter
These papers were collected from ISI's Web of Science product in the period from January 2002 to December 2003 by using queries and seed references.
The x axis of each plot is k and the y axis of each plot is P(k), the probability that a reference journal will recieve k citations.
